I have always loved this place near Chengalpattu railway station. A highway, Rail track, big water filled (mostly) lake and green mountains make a pretty picture. This also brings some nostalgic thoughts as my father's native place was near here and we used to ply this route for our annual vacations (once upon a time story). Add to this the wonderful NH 45 highway, especially the Chengalpattu bypass, which feels like a drive abroad, always does wonders for my mood.

oh yeah, loved tat place!! there's a kinda small hideout in the adjacent taluk office where u get even more stunnin views of the lake, railway station and the nh 45, miss those days!!!
